Solar Photovoltaic (PV) - how it works:
1. Sunlight hits the PHOTOVOLTAIC PANEL array and is absorbed by the silicon in the cells
2. The electrons produced create a direct current (DC) and run from the solar array into an INVERTER, which converts the electricity into 240v alternating current (AC), and it is the same exact type of power that you currently receive from the grid.
3. OZRoll Industries’ solar panels give you the power to effectively slow, stop or even send your utility meter backwards. Obviously this depends on the size of your system, the time of day and your power requirements.
4. The AC power is used to run everyday electrical items 5. Excess power is fed back into the grid particularly if a feed-in tariff applies in your area, this is actually making money for you.
